These great graphite guitars are great!  I'm not afraid to check mine with baggage when I fly - it stands up to every day gig torture - and no problem with the salt air/humidity of Hawaii.  I love the little custom "sharks" on the fretboard.  These were made in Hawaii till just recently, as the company has relocated to Seattle.  Really nice people own and run RAINSGONG GUITARS - Buy one! :) The distributer on Maui is TROPICAL DISC in Kihei.

 

 

I've played yamaha flutes for years!  I really am not very careful with my gear - I work it all pretty hard, and my flute has survived like a champ and sounds beautiful.  I mean honestly, I accidently backed over it with my truck, and a large woman accidently backed over it and sat on it on stage at a gig at Henry's! My flute guru, Jim Knauer fixed it both times, and it still plays perfectly! :)
 

 

These strings last forever!  They are the viagra of guitar strings!  *lol*  I really dislike stringing guitars so the longer I can go in between doing it, the better! :)   These are great! :)
