"LIVING IN A MOVIE" WON BEST ROCK ALBUM IN HAWAII
 at the 2002 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

• 10/27/03 MTV "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet" licensed the instrumental mix of "Paper Doll" for part of the soundtrack of episode #4.

• 10/25 The Maui Music Festival was a great success and I am once again incredibly thankful and humbled by the people who organized and performed at the event.  Willie Nelson joined my band for our first live performance of "Half a Heart" - Thank you Willie!! :) 
  

• 6/4/03 Kauai Music Festival selected "Half a Heart" as a winner in their songwriting competition and the prize is this  beautiful blue Gibson Dobro guitar.  What a blessing - thank you very very very much! :) This was an amazing songwriter event and I am truly inspired by everyone I met and heard!  I learned some great things about music, human kindness and songwriting. :) This BMI event will be held every year and I think it's the coolest of it's kind. :)
  

• 3/14/03 Andelle Music chose "Couple in the Corner" as the winner in their songwriting contest for the pop/rock category - Thank you Andelle!
  

• 1/15/03 JOHN LENNON SONGWRITING CONTEST 2002 
   "Even the Angels Cried" and "Couple in the Corner" won Finalist and Runner up
   in Pop and Country categories
  

• 12/04/02 "Half a Heart" just wins the Country Category in the
    USA Songwriting Competition!

• "Half a Heart" won an "honorable mention"  in the ISC Songwriting contest.
  

• 2/14/02 WON the TONOS Valentines Day Songwriting contest - Carole Bayer Sager chose "Half  a Heart" as the winning song. 

• 11/13 "Fill Your Heart Up" is 2nd place WINNER in the Lady Six String Songwriting Contest!

Willie and Annie Nelson have invited Gail to play at several of the annual Maui Music Festivals.   Performers included Willie Nelson, Pat Simmons, The Doobie Brothers, Ricki Lee Jones, Jack Johnson, Los Lonely Boys, 40 Points,  and more!  These were fundraising events for Montisorri School on Maui.  CLICK HERE.

Steven Tyler showed up when Gail and the Groove were Jamming with Willie Nelson at Charleys  and all did a blues tune together... check out the pictures!
